Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Puyallup, WA. The travel RN will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, in a PCU unit with potential float to ED Holding.

EPIC experience is required and candidates must have true PCU experience of at least 2 years and drip management skills. Responsibilities include bedside care, cardiac monitoring, chest tube and tracheostomy care, and IV titration with vasoactive medications.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of true PCU experience in a PCU unit (not just floating to PCU).
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Must have drip management experience (e.g., nitro, dopamine, dobutamine).
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and critical care nursing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide travel RN coverage for PCU with potential float to ED Holding.
• Perform duties within PCU scope and hospital policies.
• Work up to 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
• Float within scope as needed to support unit operations.
