Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Puyallup, WA. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour nights.

You will provide specialized PCU/step-down care, monitor cardiac and other vital signs, and support patients in a stable but monitored condition. Active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 18 months of PCU experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in PCU requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.
• Utilize equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect any changes, thereby enabling intervention of life‑threatening or emergency situations.
