Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington. You will float to ED Holding and inpatient PCU, with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week, on a 13-week contract.

Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH, 2 years RN experience with PCU/CCU or similar, IV titration, rhythms, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and other critical care skills. EPIC experience preferred; must pass DYS test prior to start.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington state.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• IV medication titration and critical care skills expected.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Recent PCU/ED float experience within 6 months ideal.

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU/CCU/ACC patients with varied acuity.
• Operate on a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio or appropriate unit ratio.
• Float between ED Holding and PCU, including ED Hold admissions.
• Ensure patient safety and timely documentation of care.
