Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PCU – Progressive Care Unit assignment in Charlotte, NC. The travel nurse will provide care to patients transitioning from acute care, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires one year of Stepdown experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience or equivalent in telemetry/PCU.
• Current RN license in good standing with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry data, and respond to changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments; ensure cardiac care quality.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Document nursing assessments and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control per hospital policy.
