Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift role in Omaha, NE. Requires NE or compact license and at least 2 years of stepdown experience. The 13-week travel assignment is on a 12-hour night schedule with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities include managing PCU patients, titrating medications, and charting in Epic EMR. Orientation and travel benefits are provided, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active NE or compact RN license required; licenses pending not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent stepdown or PCU experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Driver’s license to verify 50-mile radius eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Position in the PCU within an acute care hospital.
• Care for adult and geriatric populations in stepdown setting.
• Titrate drips and monitor patients on Cardizem and beta blockers.
• Charting in Epic EMR; unit-specific orientation provided.
