Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington. This 13-week assignment offers 48 hours weekly, night shifts, and a 12-hour schedule in PCU with float to related units and Allenmore as needed. Experience required: 1 year minimum; strong PCU/Tele and float pool experience accepted.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. EPIC experience is required and RN licensure in good standing.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum RN experience; travel experience and strong PCU/Tele/floating pool experience considered.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• EPIC experience or proficiency with hospital EMR is required.
• RN license in good standing for the state of Washington or eligible to practice.

Responsibilities

• Float across PCU, Tele, MedSurg, and ER Holding; may float to Allenmore Hospital as needed.
• Provide care for Neuro, Trauma, Surgical, Medical patients with complex conditions; manage cardiac/respiratory issues.
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and complete bedside reporting and hourly rounding.
