Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for Durham, NC. This 13-week travel assignment features a 3x12 hour night schedule and a 36-hour workweek, with responsibilities covering assessments, care planning, discharge planning, and supervision of support staff.

The RN must hold an active license with BLS and ACLS certifications prior to the first shift; two years of bedside experience is preferred. ARMStaffing provides comprehensive benefits and travel support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in rehabilitation programs, providing direct patient care and education.
• Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care.
• Supervise and mentor ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain an environment focused on safety and quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in team building activities to enhance unit functioning.
• Assume charge responsibilities as needed.
• Engage in professional development through continued education.
