Job summary

Healthforce is staffing a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Clarkston, WA, covering MedSurg and PCU duties with the flexibility to float. The start is 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks, nights, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

The assignment offers dedicated travel support, credentialing assistance, and potential extension opportunities based on staffing needs. Active WA RN license and MedSurg/PCU experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Washington state.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN degree.
• Experience in MedSurg and PCU with ability to float to related departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in MedSurg/PCU with ability to flex to other departments as needed.
• Conduct nursing assessments, administer medications, monitor patient status, document interventions and responses.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control; adhere to isolation procedures and standard precautions; maintain equipment safety and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Process physician orders promptly, document accurately, provide complete change-of-shift reports.
• Communicate effectively with care team and other departments; report critical lab values and patient changes.
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, rooms, and supplies; support patient education and discharge planning.
