Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a registered nurse to cover PCU/Med-Surg in Clarkston, WA on a 13-week assignment. Nights, 36 hours per week, with a minimum of 3 years' experience and an active WA license.

The role requires flexibility across departments, adherence to safety and infection-control standards, thorough documentation, and effective communication with patients, families, and other teams during holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
• Active WA nursing license.
• Experience in all areas of Med-Surg/PCU.
• Willing to flex in departments as needed.
• Ability to work through the upcoming holiday season with minimal RTO dates.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education using appropriate modalities.
• Ensure patient safety through standard precautions and equipment use.
• Document status, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Process physician orders promptly and report critical labs to the physician.
• Maintain and restock emergency supplies and equipment.
• Give thorough shift reports to oncoming staff.
• Communicate with other departments clearly and timely.
