Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The PCU RN will provide expert care for patients requiring close monitoring and rapid assessment, with focus on cardiac and critical vitals in a non-ICU setting.

Requirements include an active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of recent PCU/Step-down experience. Travel benefits and weekly pay accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients who aren’t unstable enough to require ICU care.
• Utilize monitoring equipment to track cardiac and other vital information and detect changes for timely intervention.
