Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care in the Progressive Care Unit during 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.

The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS (CIRH only) before first shift, and at least two years of bedside experience. Preference given to those with PCU or similar unit experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the United States.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS Certification before first shift (CIRH only).
• Minimum two years bedside clinical experience.
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in PCU with 12-hour night shifts.
• Supervise ancillary staff and ensure patient safety.
• Perform assessments within 8 hours of admission and discharge planning.
• Document accurately and communicate changes to the team.
