Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Telemetry unit in California. This PRN opportunity offers per diem shifts with pay up to $1,050 per shift and a path to gain experience in a high-acuity setting. Start date ASAP, with 12-week assignment and both day and night shifts available.

Required is an active RN license in California, BLS, and ACLS within 30 days of hire. Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Previous 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Telemetry Unit using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with a focus on safety and accuracy.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and coordinate care with the team.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients. They communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGCurrent and valid state RN License.Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.Previous 1 year of experience required.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing provides competitive compensation. The reasonable pay estimate for this position is $75.00–$85.00 per hour, applicable to California residents. This estimate has not been adjusted for other locations. The actual compensation offered will be based on several factors, including skill level, relevant experience, education, certifications, and licensure.
