Qualifications

• One year of recent PACU RN experience required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess post-anesthesia condition and conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery from anesthesia in PACU.
• Administer prescribed medications following post-anesthesia nursing techniques.
• Document patient status, treatments, and progress in medical records.
• Coordinate care with surgical team and plan for discharge or transfer.
