American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for PACU/Preop with over 2 years of Phase 1 PACU experience and required call coverage.
- Work in the PACU/Recovery Room unit of a hospital setting
- Combined PACU and preop responsibilities
- 8-bed unit staffed with 4 day shift RNs and no night shift staff
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Typical procedures include ortho-sports/joints and general surgery robotic cases
- EMR system used is Meditech
- Day shift schedule from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Call required, including 1 Friday/Saturday/Sunday and 1 additional weekday per week each month
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Phase 1 PACU experience required
- Preop/PAT experience preferred
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Team-oriented environment valuing a positive attitude and collaborative approach
- Unit policies and guidelines reviewed upon hire
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Previous employees may be subject to facility-specific rehire rules
