Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a skilled nurse for the PACU with ICU experience to support endoscopy procedures. You will monitor patients, administer sedatives, and ensure safety before, during, and after procedures while maintaining comfort and accurate records.

Shifts include two day shifts and one night shift with holidays and weekends required; flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential to provide continuous patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Safe and comfortable endoscopy care before, during, and after procedures.
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions prior to endoscopy.
• Administer sedatives and IV drips at start of procedure.
• Sterilize and organize endoscopy equipment.
• Assist the physician during endoscopy.
• Monitor vital signs during and after the procedure.
• Provide discharge instructions.
• Adhere to health, safety, and privacy standards.
• Update patient records accurately.

Key Responsibilities of an Endoscopy Nurse
