Job summary

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Operating Room Circulator travel assignment in Springfield, VT. The role runs for 13 weeks and requires 2+ years of OR experience with circu lator duties and ortho experience.

You must hold a current BLS certification, Vermont license/compact, and have reliable transportation. The position features a 32-hour workweek (Mon-Thu, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with additional hours from on-call and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 2+ years of current OR experience in a hospital setting.
• Circulator with strong Ortho experience.
• 3 months travel (or more) required.
• Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
• Must have Vermont license/Compact Allowed.
• Must have and maintain current BLS certification during employment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
• Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
• Responding to sudden changes in patients’ health and managing occasional emergencies
• Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts
• Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
• Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post‑acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre‑to‑post‑op
• Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious material
