Qualifications

• Ortho and Neuro experience required
• Level I Trauma OR experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA required
• PALS and NIH certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Degree from an accredited school or FBON-approved program with 2 years of recent acute care in a US hospital

Responsibilities

• Operate in the OR unit within a hospital setting
• Provide scrub and circulator duties as required
• Night shift: 4x10-hour shifts from 20:30-07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Use Epic EMR for documentation
• Smoke-free facility
• Complete Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening including fingerprint checks and abuse registry review
• Pass a basic arrhythmia/EKG competency assessment
• Local candidates within 60 miles considered at a lower rate
• Permanent employees must be separated from facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler

• Degree from an accredited school required, or a degree from an FBON-approved institution with 2 years of recent consecutive acute care experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital
