Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Operating Room RN for an Ambulatory Surgery unit. Active NH or compact RN license and 2+ years OR experience in travel or trauma hospital settings are required.

Expect an 8-hour day shift from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM and a 40-hour, 14-week assignment with travel rate eligibility. Vaccine requirements include flu, COVID with booster, and other standard protections; local candidates are not considered.

Qualifications

• Active NH or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA, traditional format)
• Minimum 2 years of Ambulatory Surgery RN experience
• Travel and trauma hospital experience required
• Similar hospital setting experience required
• Flu vaccine required prior to start with no religious exemptions permitted
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• 40 hours per week over a 14-week assignment
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• Provide perioperative nursing care within an ambulatory surgery setting
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• All time off requests must be submitted at time of consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
