American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room position in Bartlesville, OK, with at least 1 year of OR experience and an active compact or OK RN license; BLS from AHA is required. Nursys verification and primary source verification must be completed within 30 days before start. The assignment is a 13-week contract with a 6:30 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. schedule, 4/10s, and call requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or OK) currently in hand.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit assignment.
• 13-week contract with a 06:30-17:00 shift schedule.
• 4/10's shift pattern with call requirements.
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition.
• Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Follow Standard Precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate.
