Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a high-acuity Oncology PCU Telemetry unit in Columbus, Ohio.

The assignment runs 16 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, and includes on-unit preceptor orientation and flexible scheduling.

Requirements include active OH or compact RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and 2 years PCU experience; travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications required or preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of high-acuity PCU experience. Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for oncology and high-acuity PCU patients with telemetry.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios typical for Med Surg Tele and PCU units.
• Perform dysrhythmia interpretation and rapid response when needed.
• Manage line care, IV starts, chest tube and tracheostomy care as necessary.
• Ensure infection and fall prevention protocols are followed.
