Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in Columbus, OH. Night shift, 36 hours per week, 3x12s, with potential day shifts and float to similar acuity units.

Candidates must hold a valid OH or compact RN license, graduate from an ACEN/CCNE accredited program, and have at least 1 year of high-acuity PCU experience. BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; compensation includes tax-free stipends and travel-related benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid OH or compact RN license in hand at the time of consideration.
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent high-acuity PCU experience required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and rapid response participation.

Responsibilities

• Staff a high-acuity Oncology PCU with night shift and 36 beds total.
• Care for adult medical oncology patients with complex monitoring needs.
• Utilize telemetry and pumps; manage lines and infusion therapies.
• Maintain infection control and fall prevention protocols.
• Self-scheduling and on-unit orientation with a preceptor.
