American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN in Gillette, Wyoming for an Oncology Med Surg assignment. You will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration.

Requirements include WY or compact RN license, graduate of an accredited nursing program, and med/surg/oncology experience. Benefits include insurance, 401(k), housing stipends, and travel/licensure reimbursement.

Formación

• Active Wyoming (WY) or compact state RN license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current certifications as required by hospital policy (e.g., BLS)
• Medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
• Ability to administer chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC Certification may be required)
• Experience with electronic medical records and proficient computer skills

Responsabilidades

• Medical oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Care for oncology and hematology patients across all ages
• 12-hour day shifts with 36 hours per week
• May float to other nursing units as needed
• Provide chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, and care planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and revise care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain safe environment
• Maintain continuing education and certifications for duration of assignment
