American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN in Gillette, Wyoming for an Oncology Med Surg assignment. You will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week duration.

Requirements include WY or compact RN license, graduate of an accredited nursing program, and med/surg/oncology experience. Benefits include insurance, 401(k), housing stipends, and travel/licensure reimbursement.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Oncology position requiring a WY or compact RN license and strong med/surg skills.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a medical oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes oncology and hematology patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 12-hour day shifts are required
• May be required to float to other nursing units based on staffing and patient needs
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for oncology patients, including medication and chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, and care planning
• Develop and revise care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, compliant environment
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills are essential
• Must maintain all required continuing education and certifications for duration of assignment

Requirements
