Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Med/Surg Nephrology assignment in Peoria, IL, on night shifts. The role requires an active IL RN license and BLS certification, with 1 year RN experience preferred. You’ll work 3x12 hour nights with rotating weekends, in a 21-bed unit using Epic EMR and a no-call policy.

Local rates apply for clinicians within 50 miles of the facility. Orientation includes a preceptor and potential for self-scheduling with block scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Nephrology or urology exposure preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Hospital acute care setting on a Nephrology Med/Surg unit
• Care for ESRD, AKI, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
• 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio on days, 1:5-6 on nights
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts (1900-0700) with every-other weekend/holiday rotation
• Use Epic EMR; self-scheduling and block scheduling available
