Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Prescott Valley, AZ. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts in an acute care setting requiring an AZ or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include caring for a 30-bed Med/Surg Telemetry/PCU unit, reading telemetry, and floating to related units as needed. Travel nurses may join standby rotations and must meet required orientations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in AZ or compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Telemetry interpretation and monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for Med/Surg Telemetry/PCU patients in a 30-bed unit.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips; monitor patient status.
• Float to related units as needed (Multi Care, West Campus).
• Provide care for postoperative and medical patients; ensure safety and comfort.
• Attend hospital and unit orientations; follow infection control and dress code.
