Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift in Prescott, AZ. The role features a 49-bed unit with cardiac and medical patients, and a 12-hour night schedule on a 36-hour weekly plan.
Requirements include AZ or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, and telemetry interpretation skills. Cerner EMR experience is preferred; Relias dysrhythmia exam is a plus. Travel-friendly benefits and prompt payroll support are offered.
Qualifications
- Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficiency in reading basic telemetry strips and dysrhythmias.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 49-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital.
- Interpret telemetry strips each shift and document findings.
- Float to East Campus and potentially PCU as needed.
- Nights, 12-hour shifts with weekend/holiday coverage as scheduled.
- Collaborate with charge nurses, tele/monitor techs and staff.
