Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a seasoned RN for Med/Surg travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia, on the night shift requiring VA or compact license and at least one year of recent med/surg experience. This travel position includes a 13-week duration with 36 hours per week and a 12-hour night schedule.

Pay is weekly and benefits may include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), travel reimbursements, and per diems.

Qualifications

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent med/surg experience
• AHA/ARC BLS certification required, not expiring within first 30 days
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within last 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes general medical and surgical cases
• Night shift schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult med/surg patients
• Submit copies of all certifications and verifications as requested
• Specific documentation requirements must be met for consideration
