Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice seeks a travel RN in Med Surg/Telemetry for Elkader, IA. 13 weeks, 36 hours weekly, 12-hour night shifts, travel employment. Premium pay and flexible scheduling support your mobility across facilities within the system.

RNs should hold an accredited nursing degree and active state licensure, with 18+ months in Med Surg/Telemetry or 2+ years in other specialties. ACLS/PALS/BLS credentials per specialty are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg, Telemetry or PCU experience; 2+ years for other specialties.
• Required credentials per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc.). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations/regions as needed.
• Demonstrate standard professional practice: Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within scope of license and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality improvements and outcomes.
• Be adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities and priorities.
