Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a neurosurgical and surgical unit in Burlington, Vermont. The assignment requires prior travel experience and work in a large teaching hospital.

Responsibilities include caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patients, with 12-hour day shifts and weekend work as needed. Holidays coverage is required. Epic EMR is used, and recent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active VT or compact RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; NIHSS must be completed before start.
• Minimum of 2 years recent unit experience in a large teaching facility is required.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients on a neurosurgical and surgical unit (M5).
• Provide care on a 12-hour day shift with weekend coverage as required.
• Travelers must work 2 out of 4 major holidays and adapt schedules to unit needs.
