Job summary

American Traveler is looking for an experienced Travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Shelby, North Carolina. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months Med/Surg Tele experience and possess a valid RN license. The role requires working 12-hour night shifts with a patient ratio of 1:5-6, and floating to various regional facilities may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required.
• Proficiency in managing PIV starts, wound care, and central lines is essential.
• A candidate's permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients on a Med/Surg telemetry unit.
• Float to other facilities in Region 3 as needed.
• Work 12-hour night shifts with a 1:5-6 patient ratio.
