Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position. NM or Compact RN license and 2+ years of experience are required.

Position details include a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule, patient ratios of 1:6, and travel-rate eligibility based on distance from the facility. Requires ability to float to other Med/Surg units and to operate in a Meditech EHR environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience required

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical Telemetry unit on the Ortho/Onc/MS 6th floor
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other Med/Surg units if needed
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Provide nursing care on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
