Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool in Sioux Falls, SD, covering Telemetry with a Central Resource Pool. This full-time role requires an active SD or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certification, with at least 1 year of RN experience.

The position features 12-hour day/night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, and uses EPIC. Navy blue scrubs are required, and local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at an adjusted pay rate.

Qualifications

Must have SD or compact RN license (active).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year RN experience.
Telemetry unit experience required.
BSN not required.

Responsibilities

Cover Med/Surg and Telemetry units within the Central Resource Pool.
12-hour day/night shifts with rotating schedule.
Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient care.
Provide nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional teams to plan and evaluate care.
Care for patients across all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Coordinate care, assess patients, educate, and triage as needed.
Must badge in and out at the facility; Navy blue scrubs required.
Local candidates within 80 miles may receive adjusted pay.
