Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for Med/Surg Telemetry in Winchester, VA. The role includes night shifts in a hospital setting with a float pool for Med/Surg and Telemetry units. Minimum 1 year in Med/Surg Telemetry; VA/compact license required; AHA certs required.

The assignment features a 13-week duration, 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and travel reimbursement benefits. VA or compact RN license is essential to qualify.

Qualifications

• Active VA or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• AHA certifications required.
• Certifications must be valid beyond 30 days from start date.
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units within a hospital.
• Work setting is a hospital environment.
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15, three 12-hour shifts per week.
• Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned.
• Provide nursing care to a variety of patient populations across Med/Surg and Telemetry units.
• Demonstrate adaptability and strong clinical skills for floats.
