Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The role covers day shifts on a 12-hour schedule, 36 hours per week, for a 9-week assignment.

As a travel RN, you will assess and monitor adult Med-Surg/Telemetry patients, interpret telemetry, administer medications, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing and patient needs.

Qualifications

• RN with Med-Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Ability to monitor and interpret telemetry.
• Experience with adult inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor adult Med-Surg/Telemetry patients
• Interpret telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms
• Develop and implement nursing care plans
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients, families and caregivers
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float to appropriate units based on staffing needs and clinical competency
