Job summary
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The role covers day shifts on a 12-hour schedule, 36 hours per week, for a 9-week assignment.
As a travel RN, you will assess and monitor adult Med-Surg/Telemetry patients, interpret telemetry, administer medications, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing and patient needs.
Qualifications
- RN with Med-Surg/Telemetry experience.
- Ability to monitor and interpret telemetry.
- Experience with adult inpatient care.

- Interpret telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms
- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments

This is an adult Med-Surg/Telemetry floor. Despite the unit's current name, it does not provide pediatric care. Most orthopedic patients are now cared for on a separate dedicated floor.
- Assess and monitor adult Med-Surg/Telemetry patients
- Interpret telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments
- Evaluate patient response and adjust interventions as needed
- Identify and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients, families and caregivers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Float to appropriate units based on staffing needs and clinical competency
