Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The assignment runs 9 weeks starting 10/12/2026, with 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, and every other weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• RN license and eligibility to practice in Wisconsin.
• Healthcare experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry settings.
• Ability to travel and adapt to different patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor adult Med-Surg/Telemetry patients.
• Interpret telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust interventions as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Float to appropriate units based on staffing needs and competency.

This is an adult Med-Surg/Telemetry floor. Despite the unit’s current name, it does not provide pediatric care. Most orthopedic patients are now cared for on a separate dedicated floor.
