Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Med/Surg Telemetry contract in Olympia, WA. The role covers medical-surgical and telemetry units with a 12-hour day shift and a 36-hour week.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of RN experience, WA license or compact license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS, and Epic charting experience. This assignment offers weekly pay and potential floating to nearby units.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of RN experience including medical-surgical and telemetry.
Previous charge nurse experience is required.
Current RN license valid for Washington; compact license in hand when applicable.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
NIHSS certification is required.
Epic charting experience is required.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Float throughout the facility to support staffing needs and maintain quality care.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias.
Manage patients requiring telemetry monitoring and isolation precautions.
Complete comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and evaluate outcomes.
Coordinate care with providers, rehabilitation, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
Assist with charge responsibilities on smaller units and staffing coordination.
