Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Winchester, Virginia. This 13-week travel assignment offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care while exploring a new community.

Applicants should have one year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS. Certifications such as NIHSS/ACLS are preferred. You’ll join a supportive clinical team with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• Current RN license and active status in the state where practicing.
• BLS certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Assist with diagnostics and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety throughout care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
