Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN travel nurse for a 26-week assignment in Des Moines, IA. The role focuses on Med Surg/Telemetry with 12-hour nights shifts and 36 hours per week. Immediate consideration for Telemetry RN with acute care experience is requested.

As a Tele Travel Nurse, you will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and oxygen levels, interpreting data to guide patient care. Requirements include BLS, ACLS, and 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Telemetry RN with strong monitoring and interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry equipment and displays.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data indicates adverse symptoms.
