Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Telemetry RN for a travel nursing assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The role focuses on Med Surg/Telemetry with 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for 26 weeks. Immediate travel opening with tax-free stipend details to be determined.

The Telemetry RN will monitor patient data, perform bedside care, and respond to changes in telemetry readings. Requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and appropriate certifications.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, ACLS certifications (and NIH if required).
• Telemetry RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and adjust telemetry equipment and interpret readings.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data indicate adverse symptoms.
