Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift in Attleboro, MA. You will support medical, surgical and telemetry patients, float between two units as needed, and document in Cerner.

The ideal candidate has an active MA RN license, BLS and ACLS, 2–3 years of PCU/Tele experience, and expertise in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmias. Travel and licensure reimbursements, housing allowance, and first‑week start bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2-3 years of PCU/Tele nursing experience required.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Experience managing cardiac drips (no titration required).
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips.
• Epic or Cerner EMR experience required.
• Float pool experience preferred.
• Experience with Cardizem and Amiodarone drips/GTT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including medical, surgical, and observation patients.
• May float between two different units within a single 12-hour shift based on facility need.
• Night shift schedule (4x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend coverage required.
• Overflow assignments may be based out of McCann.
• Uses Cerner for documentation.
• May be assigned to monitor the Avasure video system covering up to 12 patients at a time.
• Provide direct patient care within a combined Med/Surg and Telemetry unit setting.
• Relieve Avasure monitoring staff for scheduled breaks and meals as needed.
• First-time travelers with 2-3 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Returning staff must wait one year before being eligible to work again as a traveler.
