Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift on a PRN basis. The role involves critical thinking, direct patient care, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications

• RN license and active Nursing license in state of practice.
• English fluency in reading, speaking and writing required.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in acute hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and implement care plans as prescribed.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient placement and handoff communications.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
