Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Med/Surg assignment in Oklahoma. This role requires 2 years of RN experience, an active compact or OK license, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications, with oncology and chemotherapy credentials preferred.

You will cover night shifts 18:30-07:00 for a 13-week assignment, with up to six weekend shifts in a six-week cycle, and potential for first-time traveler consideration.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or OK) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Oncology experience and chemotherapy certification preferred
• Chemo education through ONS preferred but not required
• Only clinicians with chemotherapy administration experience will be expected to administer chemotherapy
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Oncology unit caring for medical, oncology, and end of life patient population
• Night shift schedule from 18:30-07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Required to work up to 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period
• Holiday coverage required if department has a need
• Care for patients with medical, oncology, and end of life needs
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by facility location
• First-time travelers may be considered
