Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a medical-surgical floor, delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing practice during 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Acute care hospital experience in the past 12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Develop and revise care plans based on assessment data with goals in collaboration with the team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate, delegate, and supervise activities of licensed staff while ensuring policy compliance.
• Monitor patient responses and document all phases of care accurately.
• Support evidence-based practice and participate in ongoing education for staff, patients, families and visitors.
• Provide guidance to staff and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, and effective communication.
