Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care on a Medical-Surgical floor, assessing patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team.

This night-shift position requires 36 hours per week, a current RN license or compact license, BLS, and often a hospital setting within the past year. Benefits include housing options, health coverage, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or licensure recognized by the compact.
BLS certification is required.
No minimum years of experience specified; experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months preferred.
Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher and professional certification related to medical-surgical nursing are preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, document, and revise patient care plans; provide direct patient care.
Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and unlicensed personnel.
