TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, starting 01/10/2027, in a busy Med/Surg unit.

As a MedSurg RN you will perform bedside assessments, document findings, administer medications, and assist with discharge planning. The role demands 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, and strong patient education in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and document
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Educate patients and families in the care plan
