Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical unit on the night shift in Massachusetts. A current MA RN license and BLS/ACLS are required, with orthopedic experience preferred.

The role involves full nursing care, direct patient care and supervision of LPNs, with Epic charting used for documentation. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, offers competitive pay plus bonuses, and includes travel reimbursements, housing support, and day-one insurance options.

Qualifications

Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted).
BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only).
Orthopedic surgical care experience strongly preferred.
Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

Adult/Pediatric Medical-Surgical and Joint Center unit care.
13-week contract assignment.
Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30.
Uses Epic for charting.
Coordinate care for a group of patients including direct care and supervision of LPNs and nonprofessional staff.
Responsible for full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director.
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed.
Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston at reduced rate.
RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration.
