Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 14‑week travel assignment in the inpatient post‑op unit. Shifts are Nights (7PM–7AM). At least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in inpatient surgical, med/surg is required, withRN licensure in Virginia, and ACLS/BLS/ NIHSS certifications.

EPIC experience is needed for documentation. This temporary role offers night differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of recent bedside RN experience in inpatient surgical, med/surg.
• Education: RN Degree (ADN/BSN/MSN) required.
• Current licenses and certifications: RN, Virginia license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• EPIC documentation system experience required.
• BLS and NIHSS are REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care utilizing the nursing process in an inpatient post‑op setting.
• Coordinate patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure safety and quality.
• Meet specialty‑specific requirements and contribute to patient education and outcomes.
