Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse – Traveler for a 14-week assignment on the Post-Op/Inpatient Surgical unit. Shifts are Nights 7P-7A, with a pay rate of $75/hour.

Must have 2+ years of recent bedside RN experience in inpatient surgical/Med-Surg, EPIC experience, and Virginia RN license (ACLS/NIHSS preferred). The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to standards, and collaboration with the care team in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• MUST have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT bedside RN experience in INPATIENT SURGICAL, MED/SURG
• EPIC documentation system experience required
• BLS, NIHSS REQUIRED
• Virginia RN license required
• ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides competent bedside nursing care following the nursing process.
• Performs assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation with patient safety in mind.
• Collaborates with healthcare team on inpatient surgical unit on post-op care and patient education.
