Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse - Traveler for a 14-week temp assignment on nights. The RN will provide inpatient postoperative nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, and coordinate perioperative care for adult patients.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of recent inpatient surgical/med-surg RN experience, holds an ADN/BSN/MSN, and possesses active Virginia RN licensure with ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 yrs of recent bedside RN experience in inpatient surgical, med/surg.
• EPIC documentation system experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care following the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with the care team.
